last weekend I had the opportunity to go camping with a few good friends out side of my PV has passion project. We went after school on Friday to a isolated campsite on the oracle control road located on the back side of Mt Lemmon. I chose to go to this specific site because how secluded it is, it is close to impossible to get to it with out 4 wheel drive. We cooked hot dogs over a camp fire and over all had a very good time. I will be using this experience to help better camping trips in the near future with my PV has passion group. This week we will be researching different ted talks to see how exactly we will produce a good one. As well as continuing to prepare and plan for our next project trip.

This past week I have taken a break from trip taking, to focus on prom for the weekend. but I have still been researching new and exiting out door themed locations around Tucson that we could visit. A couple are Mt Wrightson, as well as Kitt Peak. Both are known for their scenic beauty as well as a observatory located on the summit of Kitt peak. Hopefully we will have time to go to both as before the end of the school year as well as go camping on Mt Lemmon. But only time will tell, If not there is always summer.

It has been a couple of weeks since our last trip to one of our various nature/out door themed locations. but that is giving us enough time to plan the next one, which will be going camping on mt lemmon. for this trip we are planning on going up at around noon to give us enough time to set up camp as well as go hiking. We are still not 100%  certain as to which camp sight we will be staying at but we still have time to decide all of that. One thing we are all certain about is that we will all have a great time with great friends in the great out doors, which is exactly what this project is all about.

Our most recent trip took us to the oracle control road, aka mt lemmons back country road. In search of some old abandon mining sites. I had always been able to see the tailings piles from the road but never had enough time to actually get up there and take a good look at the mine shaft, until now. After exploring the sties we called it a day, had a fire where we cooked up some burgers and hot dogs, and over all had a good adventurous day. Where we all made memories that will last a life time.

The trip we went on over spring break to 7 falls, sabino canyon was a fun one. 7 falls is known for its 2 hour long hike that includes treacherous cliffs, as well as manny water crossings. But most of all it is known for its very rewarding, very beautiful view of 7 waterfalls exiting the Santa Catalina Mountains. That in the end makes it all worth your while.

Our next nature/out door themed location is going to be Redington pass which is known for shooting, hiking, as well as cliff jumping.
Our first nature themed/out door location around Tucson was mt lemmon. where we ended up having a fire and over all a good time.
