“Get lost in nature and you will find yourself” is an excellent quote that really helps remind me why I love the outdoors. Our topic if you may have already guessed is about nature/the outdoors and how you and some good friends can go out and have a great time with no more than what it costs to fill up a tank of gas. We will be doing this by visiting various outdoor themed locations around Tucson AZ. This topic is important to me because getting one with nature is how I believe I can escape from everyday life, and is very important to take a break from our busy lives every once in a while. Through all of this I am hoping to answer how I can get all the negatives out of my life and replacing them with positives by getting lost in nature and truly finding myself.
For this project we will need to research more outdoor/nature themed locations around Tucson. As of right now two big ones we already know about are MT Lemmom which is known for hiking, camping, as well as snow sports. Another location would be Redington pass, which is a high mountain pass between the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Rincons in northeast Pima County just east of Tucson AZ. Redington pass is well known for hiking, shooting, off-roading as well as cliff jumping. All of which are perfect for escaping everyday life. At the end of all our research I will be able to answer the question, can nature help you escape from everyday life.
This topic is viable do to the fact that I am actually passionate towards this topic. Ever since I could remember I have always loved camping in the great outdoors. So not only will I enjoy doing this project on this topic. But I will also find it to come natural.
Approved.
